Kathy's creature
Here is my attempt at drawing your monster. Please don't be offended, my artistic abilities are not what they should be.

The CREATURE
My heart thudded in my chest as I stared into the coal black eyes of the creature. Bright yellow pupils seemed to look through me, as putrid breath hissed out from behind brown jagged teeth. Its tongue was covered with crimson blood which had seeped out of the left corner and trickled down its chin. The creature’s large orange head was covered in brown frizzy hair, resembling a shredded Brillo pad.
As I jumped back and screamed, the creature’s oversized stubby arms, one green, one purple, reached up to grab at me. I narrowly escaped being sliced by the sharp black hooks that extended from each arm. The creature’s small round middle was grey and had a bluish stripe that extended over the top of his pants. I did a double take because these were the most ridiculous pants I’d ever seen! Square and bright yellow with blue and orange spots, they looked as though they belonged on a circus clown instead of a terrifying creature. Yet I could see sharp grey claws extending from the bottom of his pants, reminding me of the evil that lurked just inches away. I turned to flee and ran straight into the arms of my father who had heard my shriek. I was sobbing and wailing, desperately trying to warn my father of the evil that lurked just inside of my closet door. He turned on the lights and I came face to face with the creature…last year’s Halloween costume! My mom had brought it up from the basement and stored it in my closet, but in the dark of night it had mutated from an innocent costume into a hideous creature intent on my demise.
